Today, we celebrate a special milestone for Yorkshire Talent Partners (YTP) – it's our first anniversary! Remarkably, our anniversary coincides with Yorkshire Day, a day dedicated to celebrating the rich heritage and vibrant culture of Yorkshire. On this special day, we wanted to give you a little bit of an insight into the 3 women behind the name.

Sam Foster

Born and raised in Doncaster, Sam brings over 30 years of recruitment experience from within the Yorkshire and Humber region. Sam started her recruitment career at 19 and still remains as passionate and committed as ever! She is a proactive volunteer for The Careers & Enterprise Company where she supports students with career guidance through her partnership with New College Doncaster. Outside of work, she is an active member of the Harworth Brass Band and enjoys kayaking with her two daughters and partner.

Lisa Kirby

Lisa, originally from Leeds, has dedicated 30 years to the recruitment industry, covering West, North, and South Yorkshire. She walked into an agency to register for job opportunities and was offered a role recruiting within the IT sector. Lisa's career has seen her manage teams specialising in Finance, Professional and Support Services, Call Centres, and Engineering/Manufacturing. Now residing in Doncaster with her partner and stepchildren, Lisa loves making memories and living life to the fullest during her spare time.

Claire Lukey

Claire's 24-year recruitment career began in Doncaster after her intrigue was sparked when she saw an advert in the Doncaster Free Press for a Recruitment Consultant. Claire successfully applied and chose to specialise in Professional Services, aligning with her skillset. Claire is married to Dave, with whom she has three teenage daughters. She is currently training to be a Counsellor and volunteers as a Listening Volunteer for the Doncaster Samaritans. In addition to her role at YTP, Claire is the Director of two other businesses within the motor trade alongside her husband.

Today, on our first anniversary, we have picked up the keys to our very first office near Doncaster Airport, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Yorkshire Talent Partners.

As we reflect on our journey over the past year, we are filled with gratitude for the support from our clients, candidates, family, and friends - thank you for being part of our story. Here’s to many more successful years ahead!
