Today, I had the privilege of joining Paulette Edwards on her BBC Sheffield show, broadcasting live from Cast in Doncaster as part of BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour with the wonderful Anita Rani. The event kicked off with Anita and Paulette hosting an inspiring session filled with incredible stories from women in business, setting an energetic and empowering tone for the day.

Following their show, I joined Paulette on air alongside Kelly-Anne Coyle, a Chartered MCIPD professional and a valued friend of Yorkshire Talent Partners. We spoke about life as business owners in Doncaster, reflecting on the challenges we’ve faced, the rewards of building something meaningful, and the responsibility we feel to support and inspire others to take their own leap into entrepreneurship.

Sharing our thoughts in such a vibrant atmosphere was a powerful reminder of why Yorkshire Talent Partners exists—to make a positive impact, not just through our work, but in the wider community. We believe in fostering confidence, sharing knowledge, and celebrating the incredible talent and resilience we have here in South Yorkshire.

At Yorkshire Talent Partners, our values—Respectful, Responsive, and Real—are at the heart of everything we do. As a Doncaster-based business, we take great pride in lifting others up, creating opportunities, and giving back to the community that supports us.
