Practice Accountant

Do you have experience working within a firm of accountants, would like to progress, and work in a family friendly, customer centric environment?

Our client is looking for an additional team member to support a growing practice in the Rotherham/Doncaster area and support the SLT with service delivery and client satisfaction.

This role would ideally suitable a proactive Semi Senior who is able to work with minimal supervision and would enjoy the opportunity to be the client lead and progress into a Senior.

Please note that this position is based across 2 sites in Rotherham and Doncaster therefore travel between the sites is essential.

Reporting into the SLT you will have responsibility for clients within the Practice and will assist with coaching the junior members of the team.

The Practice Accountant duties will include:

• Producing of year end accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies up to Director’s review
• Bookkeeping duties for a wide range of clients
• Quarterly VAT preparation and submission
• Completing tax returns
• Sound knowledge of Excel is essential
